I was in a vicious cycle of love bombing/sex/promise when I didnt do what she wants( buy a house I can'tafford etc, I was told I'm not a man, or a good father etc. Then she would scream/throws things tells me to leave the house. Then 3 to 5 days later she was at my job telling me she's sorry and to come back home. I would go back, ( because I have children)it would be better for a week or so and then go back to the same as it was before. Silent treatment, unreasonable demands. I put up with this cycle for 12 years. During the covid lock down laying in bed, I sai to her " we just had a son, hes 2 months, we need to really save money and be conservative, because I dont know if I will have my job anymore. She told me shes not living her life like that.. on a budget.. I told her if she tells me to leave again, Im not coming back. She kicked me out and Ive been gone 4 years.. now my children are being used as a weapon.

Thank you for your informative presentation. I would like to comment on an additional thing narcissists may do intermittently. When their partner (and main supply) is away from home for a while, the narcissist will sometimes rifle through the personal belongings of their supplier in order to locate information with which to gain further leverage against them.

This has been my life for 3 years with my husband and everything you said describes him and nothing was omitted from this video. He has repeated issues where he would take off and go live with his ex baby mama for 30 days or so and then come back and he always used the excuse it was his son he wanted to be with but he had every single trait and pattern of behavior described in this video. Wow I can’t believe I finally understand what has been going on. We did go to therapy, but when therapy would start picking at things that he needed to work on holding him accountable, he would get defensive blow up in there and then eventually he stopped going and he was on a pattern of self-destructive impulsive behavior constantly leaving the relationship going to find other women basically the same other woman he’s been running back-and-forth to in a pattern for three years now And was getting very violently physically abusive to me and he still been trying to come back over last 8 weeks, since we separated but I am completely done with that. I feel safe now I feel like I’m not walking on eggshells anymore. I feel like I have my personality back, but I am stricken with guilt and shame that I couldn’t help him that I couldn’t understand him and recognize what was going on, he had been clinically diagnosed with bipolar disorder substance abuse in his history before I met him and then the new therapist had thought he was BPD and taught himCBT skills and DBT skills but he would not put the work in for that part of it.

I don't understand how my ex is roaming the streets, his histrionic expressed with delinquency and outlandish display, sometimes randomly picking fights and of course much worse, that man is a menace to society.

My ex wife exactly...made my life a living hell..and after we divorced. I ended up trauma bonded with ptsd.

I know a gal who ticks all of these boxes to a somewhat frightening extent. The missing one though is the vindictiveness and rage. She'll discard, but in a cold, unempathetic, effortless manner, though it never seems like she cares enough to actually show off the anger emotion. Perhaps she knows that the coldness is the hardest thing to deal with.

She cheated her boyfriend, my ex high school mate with me, we became friends etc, said she never looked other man with me and she fell in love with me, cheated him, we did so many things for like 9 months, constantly saying that he lost spark and emotional for her, doesn't give her attention, joy, happiness etc. She wrote 30 songs about me, I also did for her, I inspired her to become much better version of herself, helped her with study helped her with hobies etc, always there for her, she gave me so much love, their relationship was toxic af, break up than get back together, than again and like 10 times in 2 years, and ques what? now she wants us to be friends to not lose ourselves in life, and of course they got back together, even tho before recent surgery and anaesthesia she said that she loves me three times there and that she only wants me, and how this all happened now? is she insane, narcissistic, sick in head? she's literally both Lilith and Eve to all women, very kind, but very dark and somehow evil i don't know, I love her so much , but now I question everything... I am like losing my mind here for like 1 month, she said "if you are happy with one person you don't look for happiness in another" and look what she is doing now, I don't know what we are anymore, but I doubt all my heart we will be friends, like no way, yes we were friends for 2 months and than all that happened, but I didn't do this nor she, because of some "friendship" but because of love, that she easily gave and killed more easier, I don't know time will tell, I just think he's lying herself so much and I don't know why... time to say my distance now and see if she will miss anything if she does she still has feelings if not, time to move on.

Is this a conscious effort on their part? It's very calculating and insidious. Or is it simply how they operate, (ie, their learned behavior that has become second nature)?

I just got out of a marriage of 30 years with a narcissist. I never knew much about this disorder but ever since she walked out on me 2 months ago and I found videos on the subject it has explained her completely and perfectly. It has also helped with the pain and heartbreak. This video was the final nail in her coffin for me nailed her to a T. I wish these videos had been around 15 years ago so I had not wasted so much of my life.

Mine would get up in the middle of the night to go and sleep on the couch. I was expected to get up and ask her if everything was okay. Purely looking for reaction. I was supposed to know what was going unspoken through her head.

Oh yes and everything that was wrong with the relationship was either all your fault or all their fault

My narcissist wife is currently playing on my emotions with bringing up things about my deceased mother…I have to breathe deep before responding to text or talking to her

Uh, my female narcissist tried to hoover me. She sent me 2FA for Google Chat on my phone number. I ignored it. Then out of curiosity, I opened the Viber app and would you look at it, she unblocked me, which triggered me. Couple of days later I wrote a message asking her if she the one who sent 2FA and why I'm unblocked. I deleted that message and sent it couple of times due to anxiety and panic, then it crossed my mind she has no empathy, so I sent it anyway and provided proof for 2FA. She denied unblocking me and how she has no idea how it happened (which confirms that she didn't get new phone device, so it's clear she lied). She completely ignored sending 2FA. Then she dumped screenshots of reports of removed messages and started her classic crazy making tactics and playing the victim, accusing me of harassment and how I'm the one who doesn't respect boundaries (yet she respects none). So, I asked her:"Oh, now you're victim? What are we going to do about you using me as warranty whenever we would see each other in case cops searched you, so you could accuse the other person". She always carried some illegal substances on her and in country, you can get from 3 to 15 years of prison for possession of drugs. I am clean and I don't do any of it, but she could have charmed the cops and put the blame on me easily. Anyhow, to that she dropped the classic narcissistic false apology "I'm sorry that you perceived it that way or that you're feeling like it". So, I said "No, you're not. You're a sociopath". Then she started typing an essay for a minute or two, but I just couldn't argue with the deluded person, so I blocked her mid sentence. I'm just tired of these people. I'm done.

"emotional hostage" so true. My ex GF tried that non stop with. Claiming i owed her my devotion because she told me how everybody else abandoned her and now i was just like them. I was not abandoning her, I was saving myself as i was so mentally drained from the mood swings, the non stop lies, gaslighting, put downs, manipulations, trauma dumping. I was worn out. No matter what I did for her it was always thrown back in my face. Yet anything she ever did for me was used against me in every argument or mood swing.

I've not seen my ex diagnosed BPD gf in near 6 months and she is still stalking me. Had to change numbers, email address, stalked my family on social media, stalked my friends, transferred money to my bank to send my a message, she is still trying to contact me. Threatens to end herself, non stop drama crises at first to lure my back, fake pregnancy, calls my workplace from withheld number and doesn't speak. She is 32 years old and it scares me how these people are. Beyond glad I never had kids with her. We were only on and off again for 2 years.

30 years of marriage and im ready to get out. I wont get into all the BS because we all know how it goes but I'll tell you about a conversation we had years back. I told my wife we should go talk to a marriage counselor, she says to me, ya then maybe we can find out what YOUR PROBLEM IS. 😂

any advice to stay in a relationship like this is deserving of legal action.

I love this video. It is so on point. My soon to be ex started social media on Tik Toc and shows off her body for the world to see. Something that should only be reserved for her husband. I no longer have an interest in her foolishness.

Thank you so much for this. I am currently days away from my divorce from my wife who is a narcissist. Everything you said is true. She has done ALL of these things to me. I finally woke up and completely cut all forms of communication off and she still keeps trying. I just finished law school and became a counselor. With so much going for me I don’t want to let her bring me down. These videos are even therapeutic for me.

I'm trying not to blame her...instead I'm blaming that god forsaken illness! Very grateful my best friend had an eye on me and send me that Video knowing I'm getting my self into trouble....
